Revving Up for Le Mans

It's that time of year again—back to the legendary Bugatti circuit for some serious pre-race testing! The atmosphere here is electric, and I can already feel the excitement building as I reunite with familiar faces from the race endurance team. This time, however, we also have two new riders joining us, which adds a fresh dynamic to our practice sessions.

The Two Days of Testing

We’re making the most of these two days of testing, often referred to as "pré Mans". It’s critical for us to fine-tune our machines and prepare the bike for next week’s big event—the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans. During extensive laps around the track, we’ve been focusing on identifying the ideal baseline setting for the bike.

Achievements on the Track

What’s more gratifying is that all our hard work is paying off. We set an clear target of achieving a 1'40s lap time. And guess what? We managed to hit that mark! It’s a solid accomplishment for the team, especially considering the teamwork and collaboration that went into reaching this milestone. Everyone, including our new riders, contributed significantly to this success.

As we gear up for the unique challenge of the notorious 24 Hours race, it's incredible to see how the team has gelled and how quickly the newcomers have adapted to our rhythm. The track is unforgiving, demanding not just skill but also impeccable teamwork and strategy. I can’t wait to see how everything unfolds in the coming weeks!
