LE MANS 2 ROUES - EWC - 24h du Mans 2025

My first 24h of Le Mans

Race Preparations and Teamwork

What a week! Leading up to my first race in the prestigious 24 hours of Le Mans, everything seemed to go smoothly. The camaraderie among the mechanics and riders added an exciting energy to our preparations. We put in countless hours, finding that perfect balance between performance and comfort on the bike. It felt like we were a well-oiled machine, ready to tackle the challenges ahead.

Starting the Race in Challenging Conditions

Race day arrived, and while anticipation was high, Mother Nature decided to add a twist to our plans. We faced a wet start under the rain, creating a slick and unpredictable track. Despite our best efforts, our top rider encountered a heartbreaking mishap, crashing at the last corner and injuring his shoulder. Though the mechanics quickly jumped into action, repairing the bike with impressive skill and speed, the challenges were just beginning.

Nighttime Trials and Tribulations

As night fell, the race turned into a battle against the elements. The racing line was oddly dry, but the outside edges of the track were still drenched, making every turn a test of skill and nerves. Regrettably, one of our other riders faced his own obstacles, crashing twice within his run. Each incident chipped away at our hopes, but we kept pressing onward. Just when we thought we were back on the track, disaster struck again at the Dunlop corner, resulting in heavy damage that ultimately forced us to quit the race. It was a tough pill to swallow, but we knew we had given it our all.

This experience at the 24h of Le Mans taught me so much about resilience, teamwork, and the unpredictable nature of racing. While the outcome wasn’t what we dreamed of, the memories and lessons were priceless. Here’s to future races, where we’ll take the ups and downs in stride and continue striving for greatness!

Thank you so much Le Mans 2 Roues Team for this great opportunity !
