Home Race we want to forget

The Roller Coaster of Last Weekend's Race
This past weekend, our home race turned out to be quite the emotional roller coaster. While many might immediately think about rider performance, this time around, the headline was more about luck—or the lack thereof! What could have been an exhilarating competition ended up being a tale of unfortunate events right from the get-go.
Engine Woes on Lap One
It all began during the first lap of qualifications when we faced a disastrous engine failure. Breaking down before the race even properly started forced us to start from the back of the grid. Talk about a rough break! In an effort to regroup, we made a tough decision to use an extra engine, exceeding the allowed allocation. This maneuver has its consequences; not only did it mean starting from the back for the next two races, but it also came with the added challenge of two long laps to navigate. Let's just say it wasn’t the best setup for a podium finish.
Roberto's Unwavering Spirit
Despite the setbacks, our star rider Roberto never lost his fighting spirit. Just like we’ve seen so many times before, he turned what could have been a disastrous race into an admirable display of perseverance. Right from the starting line, Roberto executed some amazing starts, swiftly overtaking fellow riders wherever he could. And with those long laps in the mix, it seemed like he was overtaking some of them multiple times! In the end, Roberto finished 14th, a position that reflected not only his skill but his unwavering patience and comprehension in dealing with a challenging race.
So here we are, still processing the events of the weekend and grateful to have such an incredible rider representing us. But it’s not all doom and gloom. We’re now gearing up for the next race in Spain, where we know Roberto will surely bring his A-game. If luck decides to join us for that one, expect a speedy performance on home turf!
Thank you, Roberto, for your resilience and determination! We can’t wait to see what you do next. Here’s hoping for a smooth sailing next time, where talent and luck align!
