Roberto Garcia Shines in Race 2 at Misano

From Struggles to Strengths

After a challenging first half of the season, we finally have some positive news to share, thanks to our new rider, Roberto Garcia. It’s no secret that adapting to a new environment can be tough, but Roberto demonstrated remarkable potential this weekend, proving he’s a valuable addition to our team.

Race Weekend Recap

Our race weekend took a rollercoaster ride as expectations fluctuated. Roberto's first outing didn’t start off as planned—finishing in P15 during the free practice session and facing a crash during superpole, which left him in P20 for Race1. But that didn't deter his spirited determination. He ended up P16 in Race1, trailing the winner by 13 seconds. However, what caught everyone's attention was his performance in Race 2.

A Spectacular Comeback

Starting from P20 in race 2, we witnessed an impressive transformation. Garcia’s commitment and skill shone through as he advanced to finish in P6, a remarkable feat considering his starting position. This leap of 14 spots not only highlights his talent but also signifies the potential for future races. Although he still finished 6 seconds behind the leader, the improvement from Race 1 to Race 2 sends a strong message that he is on the rise. Let's mention that he did the 3rd best lap time during Race2 !

What we observed from Roberto is not just a rider, but a competitor willing to learn and grow. He displayed a refreshing attitude, showing that he’s not afraid of challenges. As we look forward to the next round in Donington, there is palpable excitement knowing he’ll continue to adapt and improve.

With Garcia on our team, the end of a tough season could evolve into a remarkable comeback story. We can only hope that this is just the beginning of something special. Bring on Donington!
