GMT94 - WSSP 2025 - Farewell to Michael Rinaldi and Welcome Roberto Garcia

New Chapter in GMT94 2025 season. Roberto Garcia replacing Michael Rinaldi

Bittersweet Goodbyes

Life in the racing world is often a mix of emotions, particularly in the fast-paced Superbike scene. Today, we are in a bit of a quandary. The news has just broke that Michael Rinaldi, our rider since the beginning of the season, will no longer be competing with us. He is heading back to Superbike with another Yamaha team. While it’s tough to see Michael go, we understand that sometimes things just don’t click. Unfortunately, it seems that the bike wasn’t a perfect match for him, leading to some unaccomplished work together. It’s always a challenge when the chemistry isn’t just right. Nonetheless, we wish him all the best on his new journey!

Welcoming a New Talent

With that bittersweet goodbye, we are thrilled to announce our new rider: Roberto Garcia! If you didn’t know, he’s the reigning European Moto2 Champion, which speaks volumes about his talent and potential. The first meet with Roberto was nothing short of impressive. He came in fast, showcasing his skills on the track, and we couldn’t believe how smoothly he adapted to our team colors!

Exciting Times Ahead!

The buzz around Roberto has us all excited as we look forward to the upcoming races. His performance has stirred up a sense of anticipation in our team. There’s a particular magic in seeing a new rider embrace the GMT94 colors and bring energy to our bike. Watching him zipping past competitors, I can already envision great things on the horizon. Roberto's arrival might just be the fresh start we needed after Michael's departure, paving the way for exciting ventures and victories ahead.

There’s never a dull moment in this sport, and as we adapt to changes, we also embrace the new opportunities that come along. Here’s to hoping that Roberto injects new life into our team and helps us achieve the goals we’ve set for the season : Being World Champion ! Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare to launch into the next phase of our racing journey in Misano !
